Cashman doesn’t want to give up Hughes secretly but it might get done eventually for Santana. We’ll have to wait and see. As for the Matsui trade I think it’s a nice deal for both sides. I’ve heard Matsui/Shelley Duncan for Lowry/Sanchez. Giants offense is offensive. Yankees need a lefty in the pen and get a solid starter in case any of the kids or Moose gets hurt or just don’t pitch well. Plus they come cheap while dumping Matsui’s salary. DO IT.

make the deal yankees….then we can get santana with the money that is freed up….its a win win situation….maybe even bernie w. can come back…or what the heck…bonds wouldnt be bad either…with the short porch in right,,,he might even hit fifty homers leagally…the thing that irks me is all the talk..get er done….so we can go on and improve the team…..
